An Invitation to Work with Me
My work as a Naturopathic Physician and Registered Acupuncturist began in 2002, the summer after I graduated from my dual degree, completed my board exams and moved from Portland, Oregon back to my home town of Vancouver, BC. It was here that I began Sage Clinic situated at the edge of Yaletown in Vancouver. With two business partners, at times up to fourteen doctors and eight staff and a second Victoria location, Sage Clinic was a joy! We were voted the top Naturopathic Clinic in the city for years in a row in the Georgia Straight's annual readers poll. With the pandemic in 2020, Sage Clinic had to close its doors. I restarted a new practice in the Jericho/Point Grey/Kitsilano neighbourhood at Jericho Village. In contrast to the Sage years, I've worked on my own with one colleague in this sunny and quiet location at 4th and Alma. It's been a true delight fostering and focusing on my practice and the wonderful group of patients I've had the honour of working with over the past five years.

Calling Practioners
Gaia Integrative Health, the name of my Health Profession Corporation, is located on the second floor/professional level of the Jericho Village Mall at Fourth and Alma. This is a very busy mall with multiple existing practitioners working in nearby units of the building including midwives, physiotherapists, an audiologist, a dentist and a medical doctor. The opportunities for collaboration and cross-referrals in the building alone are quite extensive.

The clinic space itself includes three rooms with West-facing windows. Each of these rooms has a sink and privacy blinds. An additional room is windowless and effective as a treatment and/or physical exam room. There is a waiting room large enough for hosting small groups, a reception area, an apothecary/medicinary room and storage.

My vision for an integrated clinic includes: Naturopathic Physicians, Clinical Counsellors, Nurse Practitioners and body-workers including Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists.

Gaia Integrative Health is not currently used for marketing purposes however with the addition of new practitioners, activating a website will be the next step.
